Canada has put in place a web-based verification system for visa-exempt foreign nationals known as electronic travel authorization (eTA). The launch of this program is one of many initiatives that the Canadian government carries out as part of a joint agreement with the United States to better protect its borders.
Foreigners from the following countries need an eTA before boarding their flight to Canada as of March 15, 2016:

Puede entrar a Canadá tantas veces como quiera durante 5 años desde la fecha en que se le conceda su eTA o hasta la fecha de caducidad de su pasaporte, lo que ocurra primero.
